How can two hearts so intwined
Be so out of time
I see the look upon his face is it love or distaste
For me, For us, For everything that we can be or ever will be
...

Your the one that I want
Your the one that I need
You'll never stop meaning the world to me
You fill up the room wherever you go
...

He'll never buy me flowers, or sweep me off my feet.
He'll call maybe once a day, and I'll see him once a week.
It's about the things that I don't see, the changes he makes for me.
At least that's what I tell myself, to keep me on my seat

Tangled

How can two hearts so intwined
Be so out of time
I see the look upon his face is it love or distaste
For me, For us, For everything that we can be or ever will be
Why can't he see the real me
He thinks I'm a shadow
a masked kind of person
I laugh in his face
The only mask I bare is of love for this person standing in front of me
Who is unable, incapable even
to open their eyes to see the vast amount of love and lust I have for he!
I say these things yet the look upon his face still worsens
Nothing comes from his lips
No lines
No sweet verses
