Kimberly Hope Poems

I had a nightmare about you,
but their is nothing I can do.
I think that I ought to tell you,
only it's frightened me.
...

I miss you, I miss you so bad it's driving me mad.
I miss the way you'd wake me up in the mornings,
how you would gentle rub my back as you said my name.
And as I wake, before I was even completely alert,
...

Money don't mean a thing baby,
we could get along just fine with nothing.
Cause as long as I have you,
I will be the happiest person alive!
...

Memories. Memories. Memories.
Everywhere I look all I see is memories.
Memories of us.
Memories of us during the day and night.
...

7.

I believe in the things I see,
but I can't believe I found thee.
I want to be with you,
but everything is harder than it seems.
...

You have a perfect body.
Your curves,
just the sight turns me on.
Your eyes bring hope.
...

He consumes my mind all day,
As I run around thinking about him,
and what he looks after.
Does he look more like,
...

You said I looked beautiful,
but I knew I wasn't perfect.
You said I ought to let my nails grow out,
paint them a pretty color.
...

I want you,
I want you so bad it kills me.
It gives me heartache by day,
and kills me slowly by night;
...

Dreaming of this land,
where she's the star.
The smile she brings shines
as bright as the sun.
...

The great revolution shall be on your big screen.
It will be everywhere,
yet nowhere at all,
and just as it is everywhere,
...

I can smell you, but I cannot touch you.
I can hear you but I cannot see you.
At night when I lay my head on your chest,
I wonder if tomorrow will bring better things.
...

Your smell, puts me at rest.
Your looks, don’t even escape my dreams.
You are always with me, as I wish to be with you.
You cared about me, and showed me love,
...

I feel as if you are my only friend,
the only one that truly cares.
Then I wonder if you truly care,
because you don’t know my like everybody else..
...

18.

I have changed.
I am better now,
better than I was,
but in some cases,
...

My heart began to beat faster.
I could feel it beating through my chest;
my chest began to hurt.
It was so hard to breath.

A Frightening Nightmare

I had a nightmare about you,
but their is nothing I can do.
I think that I ought to tell you,
only it's frightened me.
Frightened me so much;
I can not cry,
I am afraid to talk of anything,
in secret I am shaking wildly,
it feels as if my chest has been stabbed thoroughly.
This nightmare can not even be remembered,
yet is is so strong
that I can not even think straight,
it has frightened past relieving capabilities.
I don't understand any of this,
why would this happen?
Why me, you, even us?
Maybe if I can just let go;
let the entire dream thought leave,
but happiness will only come
to those who are patient in deservence.
