Don't Let Me Pass That Door

Don't let me pass that door,
I won't come back if I do,
And soon I will be lost
In the oblivion, among memories
Of not flowers and rivers,
Or of hills and pastures,

But among the moving reel
Of life, where frames
Are not made of beauty and
Joy, but of texts, snaps, comments
And likes, but who after passing
That door cares about those?

Don't let me pass that door,
Give me few hours to let
Me tell, of the love
That felt for them all,
Which I just felt but
Could never tell, as I was
Busy among the frivolities of
Tech that takes away life from life
And makes a living robot.

A robot which cared for profit and loss,
And was not aware of the loss,
The loss that life suffered
And left me with a blank life
Which had smiles unseen,
Tears not cared, touch unfelt,
And love unexpressed.

And when the time came,
I realized what I had lost,
And I now wish
For few more moments,
To live what I already lost,
And say it again and again,
Don't let me pass that door....
