Kristine Melville Poems

Sandpaper eyes, she cries real tears
Sad paper smiles,
Saying nothing that
Sits or shifts the ground.
...

Her arrogance was her ignorance,
So blonde
Thinking she knew it all.
Anxiety and fear put under the sheets

Midnight Sand

Sandpaper eyes, she cries real tears
Sad paper smiles,
Saying nothing that
Sits or shifts the ground.
Kisses died and she cries.
Sorrow for soft, self heart
And something that broke the glasses, chipped
The edges of souls
Already tainted by the
Torture of a new day;
Yes, a new day which can turn into whatever
You make of it.
Cliches cut the sand and
Dull glaze.. is it just a faze?
Open the sky and don't cry
