We proclaim at last, homeward bound.

brightness pierces nimbus rack.
Within Nature’s tumultuous rage,
out of chaos, survivor plucked.

The sea from its shore,
shows me white crested chop.
The sky above, an angry ceiling,
of dark rolling turbulence.

From the fountain of my mentor,
I filled my empty cup.
From the fields of his mind,
I harvested the crop of wisdom.

At the forefront,
of the grassy mead, my post.
Sentry to the residents, resting,
inscribed upon my field.

What wonders,
hidden beyond far horizon,
summon forth the wanderlust
resting dormant within my soul?
