Mentor Poem by Kurt Hearth

Mentor

From the fountain of my mentor,
I filled my empty cup.
From the fields of his mind,
I harvested the crop of wisdom.

From the fruits of his knowledge.
I feasted, on every word he placed on the plate.
Under his tutelage, each conquest with him,
heightened the levels of my knowledge coffers.

As my cup fills to overflowing.
I shall filter the overrun,
into the wells, of my pupils.
Perpetuity of mentoring, shall be preserved.
