After a while you realize, no one has to love you.
No one has to see your beauty.
No one has to listen to your song.
But that doesn’t mean you stop loving, Or that you stop singing, Or that you stop seeing the beauty in your own garden.
After a while you realize that you are important.
You see your strength.
Your might,
your power
And you take courage in your potential.
You learn that you are just as wonderful,
Just as talented as anyone else.
You find hope in your own dreams Instead of living off of someone else’s
You find a reason to lift your own head Instead of waiting for someone to give you one
Suddenly, the blinders lift from your eyes, and you find out who you really are.
