Has fallen upon ears long closed.

A sticking to a gloom in 'what ifs'...
To compensate for the speeding of time done.
Does nothing for one's lack of movement.
Especially if those have chosen...

Out from the woodwork,
They have come to slur.
Hoping to stir up grudges...
And smear more sludge,

My heart,
Aches.
My eyes fill with tears.
My arms are vacant.

Misunderstandings opens the door,
To comprehension.
If allowed.
And it may come with some pain.

It is important for one to be grounded.
With a solid and sound identity.
To know who one is by living the 'experience'.
Making mistakes and going through heartbreaks...

I too had been confined...
In a youthful body,
With an aged, wise mind.

When you slapped me.
