My Dream
Dreams
like snowflakes
ever unique and never the same
Dreams
become reality or
are stolen by ghosts of failure,
by misery and contempt,
always coming back to haunt
Dreams
shame with failure,
shine with fame
Dreams like a book
attract by pictures and font
My dream is
my water and food,
I thrive,
And my dream thrives on me
My dream is
entwining readers in my book
clutching ‘til the end-
done.
My dream grows
little by little,
a seed of hope
turning to an everlasting tree
My dream gives
me life.
I am the earth
and my dream is the sun.
My dream is
a piece of wood
carved to a piece of art
My dream is
complete.
My dream-
achieved.
What now?
I go back
to my dream harvest
inside my cart
this new dream is a wild animal
trapped inside me
My dream
embarks on another
wondrous journey
Your dreams
capture you,
not to the deeps of the sea
to be lost.
