The Ruins Of Festivity

Ruins of festivity
Left in the wake of sirens
After the corpse was dropped off.

Inside, a hoax call was made
Silence was the only thing that dominated
In exception of tears and screams being swallowed.

The body was obscenely hung on its noose
As the neighboring chair was overturned
kicking the door until firmly locked
Leaving it in privacy.

The party returned to their seats and champagne
They were informed of what happened
Before the door solemnly closed

And everyone burst into laughter.

(If you do not understand it here's a clue: It's a poem of an event going backwards.)
