Substance
I’m messing up my life and I know it,
The only thing I’ve done is shown it.
I guess I fell into the flow, said I’d go,
Then I started feeling low.
Freedom lost, trust unattained, and now I’m feeling pain.
I took a blow truth was told, and now my punishment is unknown
Impatient as I wait, for now I know the date.
I watched the things so dear disappear as the substance interferes
Light headed and confused, not knowing how much I’ve use.
Now I need to choose, using the truth that I must use,
To refuse the substance I’ve abused.
