Violence tears ours hearts and streets
Hatred for no reason,
And terror that inhibits speech.

Cities win,
Cities win,
They win- People learn how to live through those days of hard, indecisiveness and times when what we need, doesn't come fast enough.
They win- People realize that there are is nothing they can do but continue on, and let peace and healing begin.

A day like today, is totally predictable.
A day like today, is a day that we appreciate yesterday.
Things much lighter and less controversial.
It is a day, like others, when we understand- It's what has been.
