Lylo Benant Poems
Scooby Doo! Scooby Doo he is my hero For it is very plain to see
I Am Who I Am
I am who I am Who else would I be? I won't change for you So why change for me?
High School Memories
the thing that connects us to our high school past is what we remember whether it's the heat of August or the cold of December
Reach for the Sky
You can be anything, but you must try, So never give up, REACH for the sky. You can be a sailor or a pirate at sea, And catch all the fish and set them free.
Thank You Lord
Thank you Lord for life and love For earth and heaven above Sunshine, laughter, peace and pain in stormy weather, wind and rain
When I Was Younger
When I was younger I'd put my arms in my shirt and told people I lost my arms. I would restart the video game whenever I knew I was going to lose. Slept with all the stuffed animals as a child so none of them got offended.
Don't Stand at My Grave and Weep
Don't stand at my grave and weep I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow.
I Miss My Best Friend
Weeks have passed And i miss my best friend It hasn't been the same Since everything crashed
My Best Friend
My best friend had lots of curls but wasn't like the other girls who stayed dressed up and always clean. My best friend wore old blue jeans.
Through reflections of youth and the time on dad's knee The hunger subsided from mom feeding me All my years not to worry of future to be Is a side of my parents I was too young to see
The Poison Tree
I was angry with my friend: I told my wrath, my wrath did end. I was angry with my foe: I told it not, my wrath did grow.
The Greatest Artist
God is the greatest artist To whom no one compares, Streaking sunsets very beautiful, Painting rainbows in the air.
My name's not Cinderella, I don't need to be saved. I don't have a wicked step mom, My father's not away.
Souls and Raindrops
Light raindrops fall and wrinkle the sea, Then vanish, and die utterly. One would not know that raindrops fell If the round sea wrinkles did not tell.

Scooby Doo he is my hero
For it is very plain to see
Not afraid to show emotion
Can be brave, when needed to be
Always hungry, always eating
He would leap buildings for a treat
Can be loving, can be gentle
As a doggie, he is so sweet
When faced with fear, he starts to shiver
And backs off in retreat
But to protect those meddling teenagers
He would be impossible to defeat
So if you have, in your life, a Scooby
Please be patient, and be kind
For he is a special someone
And he is a friend of mine.
