The first time I heard of Kris was on a PBS station from Buffalo N.Y., in 1970, and when I heard the line from The Pilgrim, ' he's a walking contradiction, partly truth and partly fiction' I was hooked and became a fan. I ren out and bought whatever album was available, and every one since. I've seen him in concerts in Toronto and area. I think he's one of the best story tellers and song writers in the world to-day. I really like his take on the album Third World War, and agree with him all the way. It would be a real privilge to spend time talking with him, and hope that can happen some day. Until then, all I can say is ' Thanks a lot Kris. You were with me on every work project I took on, and allowed me to learn almost all of your songs. I'm thankful to PBS' A true fan. Len
This man is one of the greatest songwriters of all time. His songs are filled with the stuff of everday life that people of all walks of life can relate to. Meeting him was a life-long dream come true. He was as warm and appealing as his music.
