Flashes In Darkness

Lightning Flashes in Pitch black Darkness
Nothing to wake me from this numbness
No more reasons, no more seasons,
All i see is pitch black darkness.

What is it that dwells in me?
All my lively hope it thieve.
There is something meant for me,
On this hope my life do thrive.

Like a star did once i shine,
Emperor of a world of mine,
Now I’m drenched in bad fate’s rage,
Trapped in fierce beast’s feeding cage.

Rolling on ground is my old crown,
All i see is laugh and frown,
Now i’m just a street side clown,
In flood of sorrows now i drown.
