TREE BY THE RIVER(02/20/04)
Gigantic tree's canopy, there I lay
Dreaming how the world could be
...
am looking at veggies
mesmerize by colors
i settle for carrot sticks
cauliflower in plastic
...
she was watching
this strange man
passing by her yard
carrying a brown bag
...
set of eyes following a convoy
barely hiding from tree to tree
g-string; clothe cover herself
colorful as brown bag with lace
...
we are dreamers gliding through wind
like a seed ripe, ripe but no right bin
to take us to grow on fields for spring
we were forgotten by caring thumbs
...
thanks heaven for opening sky
plants no longer bend their knees
my car is clean and dust were gone
i can breathe freely; no more sneeze
...
i’ve seen ripples of
blinding lightning abound
i’ve heard slew of
thunders hit the ground
...
pretty girl picks a doll
hugging n kissing at store
so happy showing to her dad
he bought n give it to her
...
wrinkled face flashing peace
was it how much she charge
for good picture of her heirs
pretty headband multiple colors
...
beneath flowering tree
soft green grass i sit
tinkering with my car
trying to find grinding
...
