smiling clouds watching over me
sweet breeze coming from berry tree
resting geese with young's in tow
looking at me same person year ago
...
dirt grace my knees taking good view
horses galloping, waving flags at rodeo
screams from crowd, joyous day to pass
petting animals, munching dried grass
...
was reading our past today
i find it really amusing to be
part of yours; long journey
little i have, not so worthy
...
a gentle flap of wings, soar
so soft i could imagine doing
up pass those treetops, glide
to lake's surface, land splash
...
i reach berry above my head
drops before i could get it
more on drooping branch sweet
birds are picking; busy beaks
...
dried leaves on my chest rasping
it could be westerly wind blowing
i tried to reach it but disappear
tiny whirlwind on my feet i stare
...
i am counting my steps
out of following shadow
leaves chasing my feet
i have to cover my face
...
cold water dripping on my head
taking away my pain and my sweat
rustling fast just like music beat
pouring now, draining down sink
...
I have seen these clouds before
low, dark, swirling above shore
my feathered friends hurry home
trees creek, fallen leaves comb
...
