The Power Of A Flower

I sat there on the bench
plunged in a deep hole
thinking of my wasted life
and my sad soul
I had no dreams
nor hope beams
as I sipped my coffee
and drowned in my tears
I was alone with a shaking tone
hair gone white and partial sight
I fell in my regrets
as my life rolled in my mind
my coffee fell down
so I stared with a frown
A breeze of fresh air flew by
I heard a young boy cry
his kite went high
got trapped in a tree
I shattered my misery
and set the kite free
he was happy
he got me a flower
it gave me enough power
to die with a smile
and be remembered for a while!
