I can see with my ears
And speak with my hands.
I feel with my eyes
What I hold dear.

You can break through my words,
And cut 'tween my breath.
You whisper with your scent
What you hold dear.

I am blind to your voice,
You are deaf to my touch.
We can taste with our hands
What we hold dear.

They are mute in their sight,
and dumb to their lips.
Yet they see in my arms,
