Incorrigible

Maybe sometimes I act with a little bit of avarice
Or maybe sometimes I’m just abominable
I know that the word “sorry” don’t absolve my acts
And maybe I repeat this word (sorry) too much, that’s a fact
Maybe, I went through a lot in my life
Or maybe I find myself scaring people around
Sometimes I feel like I learned too much from life
But maybe I haven’t learned anything from it, nothing at all
I try to be prudent with my adversary
Not be pallor, not show the fear in my face
Maybe today I have not credentials of anything
Maybe today I find myself all alone
Maybe today is another day to say “sorry”
Or maybe today is the day to stop saying it, at all
Maybe someday I will exceed my own expectations
But maybe I’m going to keep saying sorry ‘till the end.
