I am a stepmother who is quite in a blunder
I have done something to make thunder
The price that I've paid for the mistake that was made
still makes me shudder.

I pay the piper everyday when I have to lay
The time is day
What will make me stay?

The clock tick tocks, tick tocks
on the wall
The days roll into one after the other and all

Knock, Knock the little hands on bang on the door
I hit the floor
The shame that will be felt more

I look in their eyes
I see hate
I see dire

I am a stepmother who created the fire
I am in prison
For creating treason against
the very womb
that nutured these children
