Love is dangerous.
It's been said before by countless wise men.
Yet it holds no significance until that hour.
The hour in which you come to a certain realization-
...

Do you remember the night we stared at the stars?
My head laying on your chest, listening to every heartbeat
You said we would be together forever
You said any storm we went through,
...

Amidst an ocean of people
All of whom know my name
They sing me praises and talk to me
Listening intently to my tales
...

4.

In a room full of people
All of them faces that I know
hearing stories I've heard many times before,
but embellished more each time.
...

She walks into a room
they praise her
they love her
they want her

Why Do We Love?

Love is dangerous.
It's been said before by countless wise men.
Yet it holds no significance until that hour.
The hour in which you come to a certain realization-
You care for some so much
that you would rather be hurt by them
time and time again,
then risk living without them.

Love is foolish.
It's as if we're going into the cold without a coat,
bare and open with no protection.
Nothing to block the wind from sending
needles to pierce your skin

Why do we love?
It can be described as nothing but insanity.
To trust in someone so much,
to confide in someone so much,
to feel a sense of belonging to someone,
it all seems ludicrous.

But necessary.

Why do we love?

Why do we breathe?
