A world away from all the things
That keep us in the world,
I show my heart, now that my wings
I’ve timidly unfurled.

And from that heart I offer you
A prayer, a song, a rhyme,
And hope I stir in your heart too

Mark, this poem (as your bio) is itself a gem. It says better than I something I just tried to say in a new effort of mine. ('Lines') Whenever we choose to write ourselves in lines, if we're fortunate we learn more about ourselves, and lots of other things, too. Your joy and your pleasure communicate with readers, and for that we are grateful.

(One of our sons lives in Canberra. We've always intended to make it on to NZ one of these days. Now our travel is severely hampered by my health, so we probably won't make it, but my friends and children tell me what a gracious place it is. Cheers!)
