Dying White Man

A white man lays in his bed
Dying

He howls to the heavens
So that God may hear him
'Why God?
Why hath thou forsaken me?
I have been nothing but a loyal servant! '
God does not reply

He looks 'round his bed
Sees his family
Sees his friends
Feels nothing but hate in his heart

With teary eyes
and darkness in his soul
He howls to the heavens
So God may hear him
'May God curse you all to a life of
Loneliness and Despair
Pain and Strife
Loss and Suffering! '

And then
He continued on
Laying in that bed
And dying
And Howling
'Why God?
Why hath thou forsaken me?
I have been nothing but a loyal servant! '
Still
God does not reply
