She

She’s lovely like a goddess
Gentle, fine, and sweet
Her eyes glimmer in the sunset
As she looks right at me
As I hold her tight- sitting in the sunset
I sing to her a lullaby written by me.
On that night we fell in love,
Love so strong, stronger than a dove
And on that night of splendorous love
It came down shining from above.
And when she writes “I love you”
“I love you too” is written through and through
A glimmer of beauty as fine as life
Sweetly my angel, my love, my life
