Evanescent

Streaks of black spread across her face.
For her lifelong pursuit of the love she'll chase.
A lifeless smile so dense, so hollow.
Because of the fear that always follows.
She wishes to sleep, to escape her screams.
Maybe someday she'll awake from this dream.
She whispers 'I'm fine...'
Her trust just has this boundary line.
The life she knows is a massive depressant.
Soon she knows that she'll evanescent.
