My clouds keep getting heavier
Please tell me if they’re clouds
Or just mist floating by
What lies in those clouds
...
Talking to myself
I don’t know what to say
I don’t know myself
I don’t know anyone else.
...
Can people please stop driving cars;
Screeching on striped, glossy roads.
On mother earth’s bare skin we have made scars,
By those rugged tyres that scorch.
...
Love is carried as a burden
As a load tied around your back
You expect your lover to carry your load
And trip in all your cracks.
...
Lightening sparkles in the clouds
As it pierces through the misty sky
The deafening thunder ignites the darkness
As the winds begin to cry
...
With her stiletto nails
She scrapes dried blood from wounds
Blood chips off making trails
She follows trails bleeding.
...
A layer of tears coat my eyes
To keep it from the cold
When glaciers form
They avalanche down.
...
My tears burn ditches
While ploughing down my face
Flames of feelings still arsonise
Even when else fell to dust.
...
And it is the colour within
It is the shade of my sin
The melancholy in my grin
...
I follow lightning
To see the sky's broken torch
I follow thunder
To watch the sky scream.
