The world looks on while Christians sing
She sees the so-called few
How some resent the slightest thing
And hate another’s view

Though seven churches sang their song
Though praying night and day
Yet Christ in all found something wrong

Mistletoe sprigs and chocolate moose
Circus on the tele’
Chicken, turkey, roasted goose
Bowls of wobbly jelly

A greater gift could no one give
Salvation as a child
Given of God so man could live
On earth so meek and mild

Who live to sin, are blind and lost
With only self to blame
Who'd be prepared to pay the cost?
To free such souls from shame

At first, creation seems as painted
Sparkling seas, rivers untainted
The sun the moon sweet smell and sound
Heaven’s handwork's all around
...
Does man deserve his time of day
The Light God sent to show The Way
Should Jesus dwell in hearts of stone
When taking score which seed we’ve sown
...
The Way to God is long unveiled
When on the cross His Lamb was nailed
But countless lost believe it odd
That just one Way will lead to God
...
“For many years there’s hardly rain
We eat what we can find
We have no means to buy more grain
Nor food of any kind
...
When sin lay bear the devil’s plan
When shame gave birth to lies
Death’s dawn came first to mortal man
At Adam’s sad demise
...
