If Jesus’ Spirit’s not within
If you don’t’ feel Him there
Could be my friend you’re still in sin
True life is not your share

This world’s in such a dreadful state
Her children live and die
Blindly walking through hells wide gate
And never knowing why
...

Mine’s not a statement of the proud
Nor journal of a clown
But God has raised me from the crowd
In promise of a crown
...

Since man first saw the rising sun
Till all the world’s on fire
No angel’s ever had more fun
No human more desire
...

Nothing of good was mine before
Evil in word and deed
Until I opened up my door
To life’s eternal Seed
...

Wake up my child and hear my Word
Open your eyes and see
Obey the wisdom you have heard
And set your neighbours free
...

Darkness pollutes our blinded race
In silence death prevails
Yet Heaven’s Light can find no place
Within our self-made jails
