All the stars are singing
some soft, some loud
as dark and diamonds
roll out across the sky
...

pale lilac bells
with purple throats
swing silent
in the wintery wind
...

One dropp of sweat has pearled,
a world
containing all my substance
just poised
...

A flare of light
the searing touch
of flame that sings
and hisses
...

I become
a blade of darkness
in the noonday sun.
The pain
...

Night hides all
wounds,
all sins,
her cloak of shadows
...

Flesh is grave cold
in the pre dawn chill,
eyes blink slowly
seeking focus, seeking sun,
...

I believe
that I can
walk between the spaces
in the walls, slide by electrons
...

Come, wrap yourself
in clouds of steam
scented with vanilla
and with me.
...

I walked under the morning,
heading east into the fire
turning shadow to its other side,
a glow that dappled gold
