Heart Shaped Grenade
This is love,
this is war,
dropp grenades,
on foreign shores.
We come together,
we fall apart,
send a bullet,
straight through the heart.
Lessons learned,
battle scars earned.
Senseless conflict,
destroys the world.
Fight with words,
say things that hurt,
distort feeling,
make 'em feel like dirt.
Together we die,
apart we thrive,
it was never meant to be,
we never lived in harmony.
