All of a sudden amid poor halogen light,
In a crowded waiting room she shot into my sight,
a huge distance of time had crawled in, created a gap
I saw her with a beautiful baby swinging in her lap,
...
Thank you Malala
For rendering the music of life
The life full of light that opposes darkness
makes us stand upright, heads up.

All about the nectar
One fine morning
She discovers the nectar within self
...
Call of the handcuffed Angel
The palm of shadow touched the water tumbler,
was not the real palm, just calm
...
The blank Paper
It is half past two in the quite night,
Outside my room, the scene is thorough bright,

Anita -the forgotten story
She gathered my traces on the face of the Face Book
Sent me her cropped up image with stern look,
Her challenge to identify her, gave me a shock,

Under the Gulmohar
I found a replica of Passer domesticus on the ground,
Heads up, I saw the cinnamon brown male with
Grey upper tail coverts,

Finding the shadow
However, it was half moon night
I could see only the shadow flight,
Who thronged into the vessel of my vision?

Handshake with words
Today is Sunday, i am going to Church
Today is Monday; i am going to Temple,

Waiting Room
All of a sudden amid poor halogen light,
In a crowded waiting room she shot into my sight,
a huge distance of time had crawled in, created a gap
I saw her with a beautiful baby swinging in her lap,
Oh God.. I was flabbergasted
She had torn off all the pages
of our memories, togetherness, fantasies, promises
i felt like a bare pale leaf
blown away from the branches of tree all along,
within a few moments,
a huge darkness had seeked refuge into my inner estate,
Just then, a fast running train crossed the platform, and- what,
i felt as though my life had come to a halt.
she had left me all alone! in tears,
suddenly a loud voice touched my ears
Deedi (elder Sister) you took so much of time,
It was very difficult to handle the baby,
I shook my head with all wet eyes,
we saw each other twice,
amused, shocked, with a deep breath, concerned,
She called at once, looking at me, Hey, MJ,
I heard her voice after seasons had passed by.
That was the moment when i wanted to die-
with happiness,
Before the conversation could take place,
She along with her sister and baby rushed towards the roaring train
While holding the door handle of the compartment,
She looked back straight into my eyes
She had to go, she had no other choice,
with helpless smile and hope on her delighted face
Her silence spoke, yes, life is a race.
Before i could gather anything, like a robot
I waived my right hand into air and murmured Good bye,
The train moved further,
And i also got moved by her unconditional gesture,
She has gone, who knows for ever,
But i feel as if i am carefully holding the cart
of innocent dream into my lap of heart.
I have to move as the life moves further,
No one can live in the waiting room for ever...
But, what to do when life becomes a waiting room, my dear!
