The clock made its chime.
Darkness filled the air.
It's three hours after nine.
And he was very scared.

The air had no light.
He was all alone.
He was filled with fright,
And couldn't find his way home.

With nowhere to go,
He stopped and lay down,
The woods were nothing he'd know,
Which caused him to frown.

Then there was a flare,
Coming from afar,
Going to it was his dare,
Like him following a star.

He found the source of the light,
Was a man with a knife,
And boy was his surprise,
He then lost his life.
