The Trees That Follow Me

To my friends:

These are the trees
That follow me
Through thick and thin
They still can see

That i am not perfect
I can't be another
I cant run without dying
Says my mother

I may not be like
All of you
But they see me
All the way through

He may not love me
I may be a blur
It breaks my heart
To see him follow her

But they think i am beautiful
They say i am wrong
They tell me i'm amazing
And also i'm strong

So now i can tell myself
And also can see
That my real beauty
Are the trees that follow me.
