What is this love that everyone seek
What is this love of which you speak
Some say it's an expression of your inner most feeling, inner meaning deep.
Wow, lets stop for a moment and think where could this love be.
Is it something real or real fantasy
Did I miss it or did it miss me
Are my eyes closed because for some reason I can not see,
Words of love that most if not all breathes

Is it a myth or does it really exist
Will it fade like the fog in a mid nights mist.
Some say love is great, love is grand, love is true bliss
But in todays world divorce is what comes right after that wedding night kiss.

So is love blind
Or just an infatuation within ones own mind,
Of a fairytale companion, a soul mate that will be found in due time.

Don't let the past hold you down with the would've, should've, could've.
But you do need to keep in mind those what if's
Those relationship stiffs
Those very things that deny your life
And stops you from meeting that good husband or wife.

Life is short and tomorrow is promised to no one,
Will you spend the rest of your life looking for love, or a true companion,
Because before you know it, you might end up with someone, better known as NO ONE.
