Buried Treasure

In someone’s heart I am their buried treasure,
Their buried treasure that loves me, and
Wonders what I look like now.
Since they haven’t seen me for
Many years, that makes me wonder to
Who treasure do I belong to, and if
I have seen them. Or they live in my
Area,

If I am someone’s buried treasure
I want to be found soon or
Reminded that I am still in their lives.
While they search, my holders
Are starting to make me wonder
Even harder before.

Since they forgot their buried treasure for years
My holders believe I am their best
Treasure they found, and
Enjoy having the treasure for so many years.

If I didn’t get found by them
Where would I be, what I would look like,
How would I be different from everyone,
And how I would act.

I believe they will find their buried treasure
When the time is right to unbury it from their hearts,
And when they unbury it they will be so happy
they found their treasure. They will also be so
Sad because they had buried their best hidden treasure
And wish they haven’t buried it.
