Fool

I come to you with nothing
And expect a response.
Can my lips draw a single word from yours?
It takes too much strength to get up now
I was pushed down
As a fool
And a fool gets back up
Nothing has changed
Except the bruises soon show
And the cuts still heal
And the tears will dry
But nothing is learned
A fool still walks away
