own shuts down the heart, makes the body tired.

The toddler clings to and hides
behind his mother's leg
as a nonswimmer hangs on
to the pillars of a pier

War Memorial.... the American poor
sent off to war by the pawns of the rich.

Because a cow eats corn instead of a human being
does not make the corn 'feed' instead of 'food'.
