Little Girl

There was a little girl
that was her daddy's world.
But her mom caused too many swirls
and he lost his little girl.

He tried to stay a part of her life
But there was always someone causing such strife.
So he prayed and prayed with his wife,
He finally knew what had to happen in his and her life.

The day would come that he would have to say
goodbye to this little girl; it was the only way.
He continued to love her and pray for her every day
So that Jesus would hold her and say,

'I am here. I am the way, the truth and the light.'
'Be still and know that I am GOD' And later, you might,
Read what His disciple wrote in Romans 8: 28.
And her dad kept praying, so that his little girl would see the light.
