To guide me on my way.
For strength and hope and energy
To face another day. Content through daylight hours spent
Amid the daily chatter,
My inner peace is Heaven sent,
The lord, my Champion Batter When, at the closing of the day,
I lay me down to sleep
If I can feel I've trod His way,
I'll sleep a dreamless sleep!
