Betrayed By Love

Trudging through the Ice and Snow,
To the airport i did go.

Four thousand miles I did fly,
At my destination I did cry,
You weren't there to meet me,
leaving me stranded, high and dry.

Message after message I did leave,
To fall upon deaf ears, I believe.
No loving arms to hold me, protect me,
to comfort me.

A long way from home, scared and alone,
you said you loved me,
That you would never leave me.
I promised you the same, all i got was pain.

This pain so unbearable, i can't hide,
Nothing will ever be the same,
You took me for a ride.
Crushing my heart deep inside.
