Oh morning come here all newfangled again
To shine here over these greenery hills
When daybreak comes in its freshness stills
From roundness of waves through in fjords glen

Here comes the day
into its new singing,
freshness is its way
peace to all it is bringing.

Old becomes new
and new becomes old,
someone becomes you
as the epochs unfold.

I want to be me
in everything I do,
I want to be free
