But reached for that old dusty knob of his attic door insight.
A turn to the knob so gently,
Cautiously he made his entry, entry into the attic that night.

Many a night I have witnessed and seen turn into day.
My soul I can no longer save,
For it is what I gave, I gave on that fateful day.

I hear the voice within
Blackness fell across my heart
As my mind would start to sin

In the darkness, my mind shatters in despair
With this sadness, I weep but shed not a tear

I feel helpless, can my soul find repair
