Too Late

Turning from those days
I recall those times
When time flies
Gibberish things lingered
Trying to hold; steadfast
My heavens break loose

Going through hills and valleys
Climbing mountains and highlands
Skipping through savannahs and deserts
Ignoring luck-filled airy times
Nevertheless, time flies
Because it waits for no man

I forgo pictures of
my starting point
I saw no worth to retrace steps
I pull out in the face of battle
A life filled with ambiguity
Having fun that brings calamity

Make hay while its day
Tomorrow's pregnancy is mystery
Achieve the impossible and grow
Welcome no unction; remain undaunted
I wish I can retrace my steps
But its too late!
