A Free Child - Poem by vincent armone

Playing on lawns of green
the smell of cherry bloosoms
the flutter of a white moth

Running through man made rain drops
on a hot summer day
a tall glass of iced tea
in 69 degree comfort

Picking pumpkins
brisk october days
snow all in piles
school closed for the days

A kiss from mom warm on your head
all nice and toasty you hop into bed
a free child nothing left to be said

:) .....that's cute and nice......if only all children were able to witness those days

a wonderfully sweet poem about innocence... but i think the last stanza could be tweaked a bit... just my opinion. (Report) Reply
