A Thought

In the dark,
that’s where my thought parks
In nights space
My pen tries to pace
With the thought it traces.

On the pillow
Is where thoughts sink
And am forced to swallow
Truths as I ink
The page;
The poem’s stage.

Once written my mind is free to sleep
Stanzas combination of codes
That for simple odes,
Sonnets stuffed with similes,
And all devices of language, flips
Messy thoughts into lines,
That land on the stage were they bind.

The Apple on the Tree—
Provided it do hopeless—hang—
That—"Heaven" is—to Me!
