The Lamb and the 144,000:
1 A lamb, before me then, I saw; Atop Mount Zion, there it stood, And with him,144,000 Who had his name and his Father's name Written on their foreheads clearly. 2 Like the roar of rushing waters, A sound from heaven, then I heard, And like a loud peal of thunder too. The sound I heard was like that of harpists playing their many harps. 3 They sang a new song ’fore the throne And four living creatures, elders. No one could learn the song except The 144,000 who’d been Finally redeemed from the earth. 4These are ones who didn’t defile Themselves with women and kept pure. They follow Lamb wherev’r He goes. They were purchased from among men And offered as first fruits to God and Lamb. 5 No lie was found; they are blameless.
The Three Angels:
6 I saw another angel fly In midair, having a gospel Eternal, to proclaim to those Who live on earth—to each nation, Tribe, language and people therein. 7He said in loud a voice, 'Fear God And give him glory, for the hour Of His judgment has at last come. Worship Him, who made the heavens, The earth, sea and springs of water.' 8A second angel following said, 'Fallen is Babylon the Great! Which made all nations drink the wine Maddening, of her adulteries.' 9Another angel followed them And said in loud a voice to all: 'If one worships the beast and his image Receiving his mark on forehead or hand, 10 He, too, will drink of wine of God's fury, Which has been poured full strength into The cup of wrath for evil ones. He will be tormented also With burning sulfur in presence Of holy angels and the Lamb. 11 The smoke of their torment rises Forever, ever, endlessly. There is no rest by day or night For those who worship the beast and his image, Or for one receiving mark of his name.' 12This calls for patient endurance On the part of the saints who obey God's commandments and remain all Faithful to Jesus Christ, the Lord. 13 I heard a voice from heav’n say, 'Write: Blessed are the dead who die In Jesus Lord from now onwards.' 'Yes, ' says the Spirit, 'they will rest From labor, for their deeds will follow them.'
The Harvest of the Earth:
14 Before me there was a white cloud, And seated on which was one 'like A son of man' with crown of gold On head; a sharp sickle in hand. 15 Another angel came out of, The temple, called in a loud voice To him who was sitting upon the cloud, 'Take your sickle and reap, because The time to reap has come at last, For, harvest of the earth is ripe.' 16So he who was upon the cloud Swung his sickle over the earth, And the earth was all harvested. 17Another angel came out of The temple in heaven, and held A sharp sickle in his hand too. 18 Another angel, fire-in-charge, Came from the altar and called out In loud a voice to him who had The sharp sickle, 'Take your sickle And gather the clusters of grapes From the earth's vine, for they are ripe.' 19The angel swung sickle on earth, And gathered grapes were thrown into The great winepress of God's wrath. 20 Outside the city, instantly, They were trampled, and blood flowed out Of press, arising as high as The horses' bridles for distance Of 1,600 stadia.
