Benhardi Dicka

(18 October 1990 / Binjai)

Books are my only true friend
Always there for me
No matter I'm sad, happy, alone
You always accompany me

You give me so many knowledge
You made my mind full of imagination
You coloring my life
You are irreplaceable

Oh books..How can I live without you
You are the source of my everything
You distract my mind to remember her
With you, Everything seems possible

You open my heart
You open my mind
You open my soul
You filled it with art

You are the only one
Who can made me smile again
Who always comfort me in the hard times
The times spent with you is priceless

I also am a huge lover of reading and books themselves! Can't seem to enjoy reading on these Nooks, Kindle's etc. It takes something away from the whole reading experience. As my favorite man Morrissey said, There's more to life than books you know, but not much more!
Great poem for book lovers everywhere! (Report) Reply

I still love the sweet calm, when holding a book in hand, taken away to new surroundings. Your words well reflected our shared emotions. Well done! PEACE (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet Sir Walter Scott

The moon's on the lake, and the mist's on the brae,
And the Clan has a name that is nameless by day;
Then gather, gather, gather Grigalach!
Gather, gather, gather Grigalach!
