Broken Heart
You crushed my heart
Suffocated it
Strangled it with your sweet charm
And choked it with your smile
It was a crimson red
Now it has faded to palest pink
Knowing you will never return its love
My heart is wounded for eternity
I thought this was forever
But you ignored by heart
Breaking it every step of the way
Whenever you added another chain
Around my broken heart
I ignored it, thinking things would be
Different one day
But my heart is now binded
For all of time
I must leave
I have to go
But those chains are locked
And only you have the key
I am not strong enough to fight
How can I show you that I need more
That you are not worth it
Give me that key
And let me go free
Leave my broken heart alone
