Child's Education

Take a child to school
Teach him the morals
Make him learn about drugs
and drug abuse
And never introduce him
to arithmetic problems
Where in real life will he
be asked to find the X
Teach him about colonization
And independence
Forget about the current constitutional
reforms
Teach him how to speak English
For when you teach him german and french
When will he go to German or France?
And his family can't even afford
the rent at home
Introduce him to skills he can specialize in
And stop wasting his 18 years
trying to teach the same things
Same things which get tough as you
proceed
The government shouldn't force us into
its system.

Poem of the Day

I

Our life is twofold; Sleep hath its own world,
A boundary between the things misnamed
Death and existence: Sleep hath its own world,
And a wide realm of wild reality,
